Teachers know that hands-on learning engages students at every level, sparks creativity, develops critical thinking skills, ignites career possibilities — and is just plain fun!
LEGOEducation WeDo 2.0 brings to life building elements that motivate pupils to collaborate, build, problem-solve, and explore, all while deepening their STEAM learning and developing 21st-century skills.
The combination of physical LEGO® bricks, standards-aligned activities, and intuitive block-based coding environment means that interactive, creative learning is easier than ever to achieve - students can see their builds in action and test and refine their problem-solving skills!
Sessions are suitable for 2 or 3 classes across one day.

Social Media Competition - Winter 2018.
The prize is one full-day Lego engineering workshop to take place at a school, within 40 miles of B24. The workshop is suitable for 2 or 3 classes, with each class completing 3 or 2 builds respectively.
ComputerXplorers will provide 15 Lego sets (suitable for 30 pupils) and one of our specialist computing teachers to lead the event. We can also provide laptops if needed or can use the school iPads.
Sharing is caring and multiple entries are ok by us! So schools, get all your teacher accounts entering for more chances to win.
To be in with a chance of winning you must follow our Twitter account @CX_Birmingham, RT one of the original competition posts and reply with the name of the school. Entries which include a picture of some lego wil be appreciated but don't get you anything extra than a knowing nod from some appreciators
If you're a parent entering on behalf of a pupil, please tag the school (if they have twitter) in your entry.
Closing date is 30th November 2018. Winner will be chosen at random (using terribly clever 'random selection' software) week commencing 3rd December 2018. What a Christmas present this could be!
Workshop to be taken during January or February.
